She Wants To Make Glitter In My Coffee Grinder

.

Hailing from the Wellingtonest of Wellington and having proven his worth as a Radiohead-obsessed busker in the nooks and crannies of New Zealand, Tristan Stibbards has finally started to make waves on the facebook and the myspace with a collection of tracks that work together to leave an accurate impression of the Kiwi Summer. Mycophile gives all the dub, all the Ben Harper and all the low-fi home-electronic goodness that you'd hope to expect from someone with such a variety of influence.

"Keeping it real" with home-recordings and frequent guest band members, this music reflects the diy music scene of Wellington, giving me a serious homely feel as the style of each track pours through my speakers. It's representing of rainy days and sunny days. It's constantly changing yet gives a sense of direction. Visit the myspace and give a listen for ye'selvez while I work on getting a song that you can keep.

  3. This is way too cool. Tell me about the camera! What film does it take! Can you access this film!
    I actually got a nice $12 one in Gisborne last week. Haven't gone looking for film yet because retail is really scary.

    How were YACHT? I've heard good and band things about them as a group. One day I'll decide myself.
    Hutt=Home=My Current Hobby=Zelda.

  5. It's a possibility that I haven't heard of them, for my circle is inconveniently placed in the Hutt Valley, which isn't ideal.
    Oh sneaky street photographer.
    Are the names deceptive or do they really tell all? And are you going to exhibit them on the internet one day?
    LONG LIFE CAT, probably has superpowers, maybe the picture also has superpowers, I think you're a lucky son.

  6. my photograph's titles lack mystique: they're fairly accurate descriptions.
    when i develop them and somehow put them on the internet you will be the first to know.

  7. Perhaps your mystique is in the rebellion against token artistic names. It's such a prestigious stance to take, I'm intimidated.
    Thankyou for the promise of first-hand sharing. I await the day that you learn to work a scanner.
